About the Job
The role holder will be actively gathering requirements, designing, building, testing and guiding/teaching others in the team in the SQL Server/Cognos skillset. Experience in both SQL Server 2000 and 2008 R2 is distinctly advantageous.
SAS - not essential or desirable for this particular role
Financial Services - desirable but not essential
Role is made up of an equal split between SQL Server Cognos, with good knowledge of SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) - client is moving from SQL 2000 to SQL 2008. Any knowledge of MDX, HTML, Oracle, Teradata would also make someone stand out.
