Collaboration Practice Lead/Manager Job in Oakville M5v 1X3, Ontario Canada

Must Have Skills:

Your accountabilities will be:

Manage a group of approximately 7-10 professionals in Toronto and on a matrixed-basis, manage 4 – 10 resources in Montreal and Ottawa
Efficiently manage the business relationship with the sales managers
Develop and manage, with the existing team, the necessary action plans to fully deliver on customer mandates
Be actively involved with the team members and customers in their projects and mandates
Identify and develop new opportunities to attract customers;
Integrate customers’ business needs with existing technologies and infrastructures;
Actively participate in developing and implementing the 2011-2012 business plan.
Ensure optimal presales coverage for the delivery of technological solutionsParticipate in weekly sales funnel calls as well as product marketing calls and vendor calls to help drive the businessUnderstand Bell’s Video conferencing product offerings (both Professional Services and Managed Services)
Deliver professional Video Conferencing networking solution services for customers
Help manage customer relations; manage opportunities and service offers
Carefully manage the financial aspects (resources, expenses, profitability, hours, occupancy rate)
Provide appropriate performance indicators
Manage the linkage between other practices, customers and partners
Manage human resources activities including hiring
Establish training plan, career path and manage performance for resources

Some travel between Montreal and Ottawa will be required

Your qualifications/ competencies are:

University degree in engineering or equivalent
University degree or studies in marketing, an asset
Minimum of three years’ experience in personnel management
Knowledge of best practices for Video Conferencing design (Cisco / Tandberg)
Relevant experience in corporate consulting or professional services
Skill and interest in coaching and developing members of a team
Marketing experience, an asset
Ability to manage transitions while motivating a team
