Collateral
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Collateral specialist to join an Investment Bank in London to join their growing new business team.
The role will include the following;
Daily margin calculation under CSA
Agreeing margin calls and collateral movements with counterparties
Investigating and resolving margin discrepancies
Booking collateral movements and reconciling them the following day to ensure margin calculations are correct and up-to-date
Assisting with system reconciliations in preparation of move onto new collateral system
Processing collateral requirements for Clearing Agents
On board clients into the collateral programme ensuring their experience is positive
Participation in the negotiation process of all collateral documentation
Identify ways to continually improve the efficiency of the process and exploit opportunities
Candidates will need to have a strong background in collateral and have experience of ISDA definitions. An understanding of the documentation process (master agreements/ confirmations) would be useful. Ideally candidates will need to have experience with Microsoft office skills, and excellent communication skills.
