Our client offers a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk management products and services and has a global presence within the Banking industry
The job is a Collateral / Operations role dealing with operational flows for a OTC derivatives
The candidate will have regular interaction with internal customers, the Front Office, Management and Project Managers tasked with managing the Collateral system enhancements and transition
Responsibilities
· Overnight feed monitoring with Collateral technology teams
· Impact Reporting to Senior Management and Credit
· Work with upstream technology teams to improve feed delivery timing and data quality.
· Support training of offshore functions to reduce manual effort with no dependency on shore.
· Develop full understanding of collateral management, proactively action and resolve queries and escalate potential risks.
Requirements
· Experience in a Collateral or Operations environment
· Advanced PC skills including Excel, Power Point and VBA
· OTC Derivatives product knowledge
· Client focused
· Strong communication skills – comfortable dealing with both internal and external clients
· Understanding of operational and credit risks, and the use of collateral and margining as tools for risk management
