Collateral Analyst – Japanese speaking recruitment
You will be focusing on UBS Collateralized OTC and Repo trading and the margin activity process. Working actively with Collateral Management colleagues globally, operations colleagues, risk management and front office traders sales to ensure that the firm's exposure to its clients and counterparties are properly monitored on a daily basis. Daily external client contact and active interface with internal client areas such as Wealth Management, Credit Risk Control, Documentation, Sales Trading, Business Unit Control (BUC), and Operations are part of the role
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Liaising with sales and marketers to service existing counterparties/client on their need for valuations reporting
- Liaising with trading/BUC/Operations securities utilities on clients’ queries and assist client’s with their queries on positions and valuations of their portfolio
- Liaising with Credit Risk Control on collateral management activities
- Liaising with, and review, other product areas as and when required. Provide business overviews and detailed specifications for further technology enhancements. Provide guidance in the form of report formats, etc in order to focus and reduce technology development time. Liaise with collateralized technology support and technology development. Be a resource for testing of technology fixes and enhancements. Document fully all test plans and results in order to obtain or provide signoff on enhancements for the technology supporting the valuations reporting function.
- Ad-hoc projects and reviews as requested by business and/or line management
Requirements:
Our ideal candidates should have the following requisites:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an Operations, Control or Credit Risk function
- Advanced Japanese language skills are required
- Collateral Management and/or Client Valuations experience would be a distinct advantage, as would project process improvement experience within an Operations team. Broad product knowledge across OTC Derivatives, Repurchase Agreements and Securitised products are also an advantage
- Green Belt training and/or Process Improvement experience is an advantage
