Collateral Change Business Analyst
We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to work within the Collateral Management Operations Global Project team. This team is made up of 10 staff globally and reports to Head of Project based in London. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with Collateral and BA experience to get stuck into varying projects.
The scope of the Global Project Team covers local projects impacting only the respective regions (Europe, US Asia) as well as global projects. The type of projects can be Operational process/re-engineering with no or minimal IT impact, working with IT on migration/integration activities, data quality/integrity projects and Market Initiatives/ Regulatory.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
*The types of project would include working to meet regulatory / industry initiatives and requirements such Central Counterparty Clearing (CCP), improve Collateral Operations' optimization of collateral postings, enrich reporting to clients and the various businesses we support, etc.
Work on IT projects in various phases of the projects
*Working in partnership with Collateral IT in the creation, review and editing of business specification and requirement documents as well as preparing test cases and test scenarios.
*Agreeing and getting Ops business/functional requirements and architecture signed-off
*Support of UAT and regression testing
*The types of project would include work to support the onboarding of new subsidiaries / businesses in Algo, migration of Algo v4 to Algo v5, etc.
Data quality / integrity projects
*Scenario analysis of data to identify data issues and agree proposed solution with stakeholders.
*Reconciliation of data from different systems and investigate output with relevant data integrity teams.
*The types of project would include work to improve quality of data received by the Algo system from upstream sources, improve controls on Algo Collateral Agreement Data and margin trade data in Algo.
The successful candidate is likely to have:
*Desire/ability to positively change the existing Collateral Operations environment
*Strong Collateral experience
*Strong computer skills in Excel, Access ,VBA, Word and Power Point
*Understanding and experience of a structured project approach
