The Securities Finance International Enhanced Custody Operations team is responsible for the settlements and collateral management for our clients. A successful candidate will be responsible for::
- Reconciling borrow and loan book to ensure collateral requirements are achieved
- Identifying internal client collateral supply demands across Non cash / Pledge / Cash
- Consulting with global trading desks to communicate risk and exposure to Securities Finance and its clients
- Communicating internally and externally all necessary information and instructions related to Collateral management.
- Identifying and managing the risks associated to corporate
This role will:
The desk consists of 6 staff managing a loan and borrow book over 21 European and Far Eastern Markets. A Successful candidate's duties will include:
- Analyzing, researching and interpreting collateral requirements from lender and borrower terms and conditions according to established policies and procedures
- Instructing client collateral requirements and coordinating external movements
- Researching and resolving collateral short falls and escalating to the appropriate management teams
- Communicating with the trading and settlements groups to enforce policies and procedures to minimize collateral issues.
- Supporting and maintaining relationships with brokerage intermediaries and Enhanced Custody client base.
- Providing collateral and securities finance expertise to internal and external groups as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Excellent knowledge of global collateral management is a requirement
- Knowledge of SunGard Global One experience preferable, but not required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and unit workflow in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to identify areas of exposure, take necessary steps to protect Enhanced Custody, its clients and the corporation
- Customer focus
- Successful candidate should be enthusiastic, keen to learn and be part of a growing team
- Good communication, organization, problem solving, analytical and prioritization skills
- Microsoft proficient
