Overview:
Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) comprises three businesses: Corporate Finance, Markets and Global Transaction Banking (GTB) and includes regional coverage in the Bank's key growth areas.

Cash and Collateral Management (CCM) is the front office team within Markets Clearing that is responsible for managing and developing client and firm treasury and margin solutions for Listed Derivatives, Foreign Exchange Prime Brokerage (FXPB), Over the Counter (OTC) and cleared products (Rates, Credit and FX), optimization of the firm's inventory (collateral) management function and overseeing central banks collateral. The function includes but is not limited to the setting of collateral eligibility rules (in conjunction with the Risk and core trading areas of the bank).

In this rapidly changing regulatory, interest rate and credit risk environment, CCM is well placed to respond to regulatory proposals and provide solutions to Deutsche Bank and its clients to optimize our returns within the new framework.

CCM is responsible for building a team, systems and processes to optimize the inventory and liquidity of the Firm. CCM builds bespoke solutions in the treasury space allowing clients to trade in a more cost effective manner, provide transparency over the effectiveness of the function. They also set transfer-pricing levels to allocate revenue/loss across businesses driving collateral requirements.

We are looking for a collateral management specialist in the London office.

Key Responsibilities:
You will understand the wider cash and collateral flow in Deutsche Bank globally.
You will understand the use of the Credit Support Annex (CSA) and its impact on banks margining functions.
You will perform collateral optimization function for Central banks.
You will work closely with Sales/Product teams to negotiate/renegotiate CSA favourable to the firm.
You will work closely with Sales/Product teams to create on-demand margining solutions for clients to win new business.
You will identify, trade and mobilise inventory available with other business divisions with the firm for margining.
You will oversee the design of collateral flows to optimise collateral portfolio and Deutsche Bank's liquidity position.
You will define and monitor netting rules and transfer pricing arrangements together with the Repurchase Agreeements (Repo) desk, Money Market trading, CCM Management and the involved stakeholders in Finance
You will work with the financial controller (Fincon) and Finance to produce daily Management Information System (MIS) and supporting financial information around the functions performance, revenue enhancements and cost savings, applied and achieved rates, captured opportunities in the market, open opportunities.

You will have:
Experience working closely with Repo, interest rate markets or collateral management or treasury.
A basic understanding of fixed income and money market products.
An understanding of Commodities and Equities products (would be an added advantage).
An entrepreneurial mindset.
High degree of negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
An enquiring mind to explore and analyse detail without constant supervision.
An interest in system architecture and continuous improvement.
The ability to influence individuals not directly under control or supervision.

You will be:
Post graduate or Masters level degree educated (or relevant international equivalent).
Fluent in both written and verbal English.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint (the ability to code would be an added advantage).
