Collateral Onboarding Analyst recruitment

The Collateral Operations team is part of Clearing Services within Operations and covers most margin processes for the IB, including OTC, FXPB, EQPB, SBL Repo. This remit of this role is to support the Collateral client on-boarding process. The role will be based in London and focus is on the more complex, bespoke processes, with the bulk of the processing (vanilla flows) being done offshore in Hyderabad.
We require two analysts to focus on separate elements being; the Legal framework regarding collateral agreements and the other focusing on Liquidity Funding. Key responsibilities of both roles include:
- Day-to-day oversight of the F2B OTC, Repo, PB, SBL and FXPB executed agreement on-boarding process globally, maintaining a robust control-focused infrastructure and risk-focused culture;
- Oversight of all Non standard and bespoke collateral agreement onboarding
- Act as point of escalation for off-shore team
- Ensure process accuracy and adherance to global operating model
- Vendor management of teams offshore
- Idenitification and driving of IT change and process improvements to improve stp and efficiency
- Proactive management of key stakeholders, including Legal, Credit, Risk and FO
- Delivery of excellence in client service across the teams
- Understanding of regulatory environment and changes and timely delivery of regulatory commitments
- Operational advisory of collateral terms in legal agreements as part of the negotiation process
Requirements:
- Must have previous collateral management and client on-boarding experience, ideally across more than one margin process, with a strong processing background / understanding of financial products and markets.
- You will have the ability to be able to determine the legal framework in regards to US vs UK law in relation to ISDA agreements and CSA’s.
- Graduate calibre or equivalent.
- Confident user of MS Office products (Excel and Word).
