Investment Bank in London is looking to hire an OTC Collateral specialist to join their growing team on an ongoing basis.
The role will include the following;
The client valuations team sits within Collateral Operations in the Investment Bank.
The team's main function is to prepare and distribute valuation statements to clients for both Over The Counter (OTC) derivative positions and also cash securities such as bonds notes.
The team is responsible for investigating client queries and resolving these to the client's satisfaction in a timely manner.
The team works closely with the front office in order to provide reporting within the terms of the client valuations policy.
On a day to day basis the role will involve preparing client valuation statements manually from the risk management system and distributing these in advance of the client's deadline.
Will involve the on-boarding of new clients on to Markit Valuations Manager and becoming the go-to individual in this space in London.
Will also require the individual to work closely with other regions
Candidates will need experience with the following;
- Have a fundamental understanding of Finance in general as well as OTC product knowledge.
- Have the ability to work to client deadlines in a pressurised environment.
- Have the ability to multi task and prioritise requests from clients and the front office appropriately.
- Be a strong team player who immediately fits into the team and can quickly learn the processing side of the role whilst providing the highest levels of client service.
