Collections Clerk / Credit Controller

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller / Collections Clerk to join a market leading organisation in Basingstoke. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast moving team environment and will report into the Collections Manager.  

Working within the collections department you will be required to identify and collect arrears payments from a range of business to business clients.  You will also be responsible for providing administrative services to accounts that are in arrears or have defaulted on payments.  

You will actively chase over due accounts to ensure that prompt payment is paid.
Other duties will include.

Ensuring that payments are allocated to the correct accounts  
Handling queries from customers and internal departments  
Issuing standard chase letters, default and termination notices  
Handling insolvency cases 

Working to KPI targets you will be rewarded with a competitive bonus structure and good basic salary. 
To be considered for this position you must have the following skills and experience:  

Proven credit control / collections experience 
Excellent communication skills  
Computer literate 
Ability to work in a fast paced target driven environment
