An exciting opportunity exists to join a large ASX listed organisation as a Collections Officer. Located in Brisbane's CBD the vacancy is for an initial six month contract. This is a company with a reputable and established presence in the banking industry.
Reporting to a Credit Manager you will be required to maintain a ledger using Microsoft Excel. You will reconcile payment disputes and queries, as well as attend to a high volume of collections calls. Ensuring effective arrears recovery you will attend to high risk consumer collections of over 60 days.
To be successful in the role you will ideally possess at least 18 months previous experience within either a collections, credit or accounts receivable role. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft excel skills will be fundamental to the role. The ability to thrive in a team environment will see you succeed in this role with strong communication and negotiation skills.
