Collections Supervisor 2 - Consumer Lending Foreclosure Department

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of a team of collectors. Plans, directs, supervises and evaluates work flow. Coordinates work activities to achieve the volume expected to meet operational requirements. Recommends operational improvements. Responsible for day-to-day application of policies and procedures. Monitors performance of staff members according to established standards and conducts performance evaluations. Ensures adherence to Company Policies and Procedures in addition to compliance with state and federal regulations. Trains and coaches staff. May make hiring decisions. Typically a first-line supervisor. Effectively communicates corporate and department objectives on a regular basis. Motivates and creates a positive working environment to achieve productivity and performance standards. Prepares performance appraisals and provides feedback and recommendations to Manager. Assesses associate development needs, drafts associate development plans, and monitors associate performance. Provides recommendations for hire, advancement, promotion or termination of employment. Trains and coaches associates to support the business objectives of the department. Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: 4+ years experience in a direct customer contact, service, or sales environment, to include 2+ years collections experience, and 1+ years experience in a supervisory role. Minimum Qualifications: Energetic hands on leadership style. Proven successful management experience with the ability to take accountability for their actions and the team's performance Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills Demonstrated ability to prioritize departmental workload and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills: Energetic, quick learner, and willing to work as a team player. Knowledge of Shaw, Hogan, YOM Knowledgeable in FFIEC and FDCPA regulations Previous leadership experience in a default real estate environment
