College Admissions Representative
Job Description
The role of the Admissions Representative at Stanbridge College is to make a difference in prospective students’ lives by helping them achieve their goals through education. The Admissions Representative must have a strong sense of integrity and perform his or her job in a caring manner with regard to both students and co-workers. It is essential that an Admissions Representative believe in what he or she does and in the mission and integrity of Stanbridge College. Qualifications:
- Prior admissions or sales experience in a school or business environment.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of computer applications.
- High level of energy and enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Establish rapport while conducting preliminary telephone interviews by answering questions about programs, asking pertinent and fact finding questions, and setting up appointments for face to face interviews.
- Create a friendly, professional atmosphere during face to face interviews by providing clear information without pressure or intimidation. Present realistic expectations about curricula, time frames, and job outlook for all programs.
- Evaluate each student’s educational and employment background to help determine if Stanbridge College is the proper fit for their educational abilities and goals.
- Have in-depth knowledge of all programs and what makes an education at Stanbridge College stand out amongst students, employers, and members of the professional community.
