College Recruiter
Responsibilities:
• Oversee recruiting policies and processes as they relate to campus recruiting.
• Build and maintain relationships with career services staff, professors, and students groups.
- Establish a diversity recruiting program based on Central TX and National opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationship with Diversity programs, placement center, group and organization, to include military and veteran outplacement
• Manage full life cycle recruiting process including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and on-boarding.
• Work with business leaders to ensure appropriate level of priority is given to the campus recruiting
efforts.
• Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates.
• Assess candidates to determine whether their capabilities match job requirements.
• Plan, facilitate, and participate in-house interview process.
• Work with hiring managers to determine hiring decision for all candidates after onsite interviews.
• Determine job offer details; negotiate, prepare and extend new-hire offers.
• Communicate offers or rejections to candidates.
• Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future consideration.
• Accurately document and track candidates in the applicant tracking system.
• Comply with government, CGI and Human Resources laws, policies and procedures.
• Monitor/audit job requisition and candidate files and track applicant flow.
• Establish trust and confidence by maintaining a high level of credibility, integrity, and skilled communications with managers, peers and candidates.
• Provide assistance on critical needs.
Requirements include:
• 3 years of experience in recruiting, preferably experience in college recruiting .
• Previous recruiting experience within an IT consulting organization is preferred.
• Bachelors degree.
• Strong technical skills to include: proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Applicant
Tracking Systems.
• Ability to operate as a part of a team as well as independently.
• Strong organizational and communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Positive and proactive approach.
• Travel is required for this role.
