Description

Key roles and responsibilities of the Communications Manager include the following:

Work with subject matter experts to develop comprehensive communication plans for product/service rollouts and enhancements, liaise

with cross-functional departments and business owners to manage the development, approval, and distribution of communications targeted to broker-dealers, registered investment advisors and other professionals (e.g., operations managers, compliance officers, senior executives, investment professionals) and individual investors. These may include operational updates, product and system enhancements, regulatory messages and firm initiatives.

Qualifications

Candidate should have at least five years of financial or related industry experience with a strong emphasis on project management and financial writing skills. Ideal candidate is a self-starter who can manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines and priorities. Candidate must be able to work collaboratively, demonstrate strong initiative and follow through, possess excellent relationship-building skills, and have a proven record of managing multiple projects with shifting deadlines and priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills, creativity and organizational/project management skills are a must. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat.
