Commercial Account Manager, DCD

Greenplum, A Division of EMC is looking to add an Account Manger to our New York City office.  We are looking for aggressive, high-energy, software sales professionals who will identify and bring to closure, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Data Analytic software opportunities within the territory. Candidate is responsible for generating net new business as well as for maintaining and growing relationships with existing accounts. Candidate is responsible for the overall health and sales performance of the territory of defined accounts. 

Greenplum is the foundation of the new EMC Data Computing Product Division within EMC's Information Infrastructure business.  Greenplum is the pioneer of Enterprise Data Cloud™ solutions for large-scale data warehousing and analytics, providing customer with flexible access to all their data for business intelligence and analytics. Greenplum offers industry-leading performance at a low cost for companies managing terabytes to petabytes of data.

Job Responsibilities:
• Develop territory/account plans to achieve goals and exceed individual software quota responsibility
• Maximize the Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence opportunity while providing value added solutions to the customer
• Develop relationships with key decision makers, influencers and partners.
• Manage effective working relationships with Technical Sales Engineers, Consulting Professionals and Business Development Managers.
• Consistently build and deliver on an accurate territory pipeline
• Travel within your assigned territory is required.
