The blockbuster returns of recent years have meant a shower of industry accolades, as well as investors clamoring for exposure to the latest fund of this superb real estate investor. Incredibly a company that has performed so well has lost none of its' entrepreneurial flair, its' sense of humour or work environment, but they do need to expand their finance team and this position is a key part of that strategy. There are many newly qualified positions, and all will require you to complete accounting activities with accuracy and expedience, but very few will offer you the opportunity to work with the corporate finance team in the deal process as the opportunity to work with senior members of this firm.
The role itself requires you to be involved in the financial and management reporting for a number of property structures, managing relationships with various subsidiaries and joint ventures and producing analysis on the property portfolio. As well as this you will provide accounting and financial support for corporate finance transactions including working with the Corporate Finance Director to understand the completion statement mechanics for acquisition and disposals and review completion statements.
Given the nature of this role the hiring manager is searching for a recently qualified ACA within audit from the big 4 or a top 10 accountancy firm that has worked with a portfolio of real estate clients. Strong Academics (2:1 degree) is essential for this high profile role within the business.
