A well-known brand with operations globally, our client currently seeks a competent Commercial Analyst to join their team in Sydney; providing analytical support with respect to large-scale infrastructure projects developed under the PPP regime.
Assisting with the development of accurate, clear and concise analytics, the Commercial Analyst will utilise their superior financial modelling skills to develop a range of detailed operational models used to make key business decisions.
In addition to a strong quantitative background it is important that the Commercial Analyst can communicate effectively with a raft of internal and external stakeholders, in order to understand the scope of analytical work required and then to present and explain completed work to relevant parties.
It is likely that the successful applicant will have prior financial modelling experience, likely gained within a Chartered Accounting firm, infrastructure advisor, infrastructure asset or investment bank.
You will possess a relevant academics in either commerce or engineering; be a strong communicator, a lateral thinker and be armed with a general sense of curiosity
Selection Criteria
- Prior experience developing operating models relating to large-scale infrastructure projects
- Work experience within an Infrastructure Advisor, Investment Bank, Big 4 Corporate Finance team or other sell-side
- Engineering, Commerce or related degree
- The right to work within Australia
