Role Summary/Purpose
Essential Responsibilities
Commercial Analyst for the EMEA Commercial FPA Manager.
Prepare weekly Sales and Orders forecast files and work with EMEA Sales leaders to obtain inputs on latest estimates.
Proactively identify variances over last week’s estimate and perform sanity checks to ensure forecasting accuracy.
Lead weekly forecast calls with EMEA Sales leaders during FPA Manager’s absence.
Support FPA Manager in developing new format to measure performance of PLs across the EMEA region.
Support FPA Manager during all financial planning sessions for PL, base cost, Sales and Orders (GPB, SII, OP, SROs).
Together with FPA manager develop profitability analysis framework to analyze and monitor regional profitability.
Prepare and improve monthly reports for base costs, variable costs, Sales and COGS analysis, Sales tie-out, PL view.
Qualifications/Requirements
Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration from a college of higher education (German: Fachhochschule).
Fluent in English.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in operational Finance.
Proven financial analysis skills and attention to detail.
Understanding of how operational drivers translate into financial results.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks under time pressure to meet deadlines.
Self-confident and able to lead discussions with Sales managers in English.
Excellent Excel skills.
Reliable, independent and proactive in driving process improvements.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Desired Characteristics
Experience in financial planning (German: Controlling).
Experience in budgeting, forecasting and working with Commercial team.
