Commercial Analyst - FMCG
My client are a listed multinational FMCG business with some very famous consumer brands as part of their portfolio. The company has continued to experience strong growth versus their competitors throughout the global recession and have a history of hiring high calibre individuals. They place emphasis on promoting internally, giving them a great company culture and high staff retention rates.
As a Commercial Analyst, you will report to the Commercial Manager. The role is designed to provide financial and analytical support to multiple stakeholders across the business, especially in Sales and Marketing, as well as operations. Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis of sales information
- Analysis of customer and competitor data
- Review and preparation of month end forecasting and budgeting
- Financial modelling of product groups
- Preparation and presentation of reports to senior management
To be successful in this role you will ideally have been in a top tier Chartered Accounting firm having spent time in Audit, ideally with FMCG clients and completing a CA qualification. Experience of working in a similar role at a more junior level will be viewed very favourably. Having a strong command of the English language, good Excel skills and most importantly business acumen will be essential.
