Commercial Analytics Manager Job in Manchester, North West UK

Our client is one of the UK’s fastest growing eCommerce businesses with a dynamic culture and inspirational management team. This international business has rapidly become the sector’s European market leader and is expected to turn over in excess of £450m in 2012.

Ongoing growth has given rise to a new role whose purpose is to support continuous improvement of margins through performing key analysis of the trading function and competitive landscape.

Role Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager responsibilities include:-

- Support the process of collecting competitor and trading data

- Interprete data, themes, patterns trends in the competitor and trading functions through use of data analysis manipulation techniques.

- Create clear reports information for management on changes occurring in the competitive landscape.

- Simplify complex data and present it in a compelling way to enable prompt active decision making across the business.

- Contribute support key analysis for the commercial management team as required.

 

The Candidate
We are looking for a self motivated, results driven individual with sound commercial acumen and outstanding skills in data analysis. You will combine solid logic, numerical skills and attention to detail with your commercial acumen to gain a robust insight into the underlying factors affecting business performance, and will use your excellent communication and presentation skills to ensure that your findings are converted into actions across the business.
You should have a high level of computer literacy, specifically working with Excel and data mining tools. A good working knowledge of eCommerce Analytics would be an advantage (although not essential).
