To develop, retain and grow business relationships with principal and lead automobile dealerships with the principal objective of meeting the overall financial performance objectives of the operating business unit. Advise on and sell credit, deposit, cash management and merchant services to establish, build and sustain attractive and profitable relationships with principal and lead clients. The Commercial Relationship Manager ensures the bank is most effectively meeting the financial needs of dealer clients by utilizing a consultative approach and by partnering with line of business team members and product partners. Responsible for generating referrals to Wealth Management, Private Financial Advisors, and other lines of business as necessary. This position will cover the Great Lakes Region. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years account relationship management experience. Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years experience in Dealer Finance, Business Banking, Corporate Banking or related experience in the automobile industry 7+ years of asset based and cash flow lending experience, including credit portfolio management, with a combination of experience in Commercial Dealer Finance and Business Banking/Corporate Banking. Must possess a strong knowledge of commercial underwriting practices. Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze, negotiate and manage transactions. Has established commercial dealer relationships. Preferred Skills: MBA or undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
