We provide banking services to international subsidiaries and affiliates of Corporate Client Banking and Middle Market clients in APAC region, EMEA region, Canada and Latin America.
The relationship manager will provide client coverage of
EU subsidiaries and works closely with US origination teams (International Coverage Officers ICOs) and US Bankers (Corporate Client Bankers Middle Market Bankers) as well as Product Specialists from across the firm to identify and support the banking needs and requirements of CB clients.
For US subsidiaries of
EU companies which bank with JPM in USA, upon requests from the EU parent companies or US Bankers, the
European relationship manager will selectively call on the
EU parent companies of the U.S. targeted clients and prospects.
Job functions/ responsibilities:
The role will be filled by a
Banker with experience of corporate or commercial banking.
This individual will be knowledgeable in the core competencies of credit and customer interaction and be solid communicators, capable of functioning across diverse geographies.
Specific responsibilities of the multinational Banker in the Commercial Bank involve the following:
-Execute local contact with client, credit/corporate banking and others to develop and close business with local subsidiaries of U.S. based Commercial Bank customers. Subsidiary companies can range in size from tens of millions up to billions (US$).- Maintain and cultivate local subsidiary contact and relationship to increase revenue and cross sell product to existing customer base. Typical requirements will focus on financing, risk treasury management. Types of credit facilities range from small working capital lines through secured borrowing base lending to syndicated transactions and Asset Based Securitisation (ABS).- Provide the necessary oversight and local accountability to document new credit facilities as well as new transactional or service activities in the local jurisdiction to conform with JPM Chase policy and with local jurisdictional requirements for credit documents, compliance, know your customer (KYC), anti-money laundering (AML), etc.- Provide ongoing due diligence of credit quality and activities to ensure sufficient local knowledge content to support ongoing credit evaluation and decision making at the parent level as well as provide sufficient local content to meet local regulatory expectations.- Maintain open, clear, fluid communication with stakeholders, i.e., bankers, international coverage officers and product partners, locally and overseas.
They will be part of an existing team located in London. The Banker will be motivated and possess a strong degree of confidence based on experience.
They
must be a strong advocate for a best in class culture.
This position will be based in London and will cover the Commercial Bank's international activities in the UK and Europe.

Qualifications
Qualifications / Job Requirements:
Typically a minimum of six to seven years relevant experience with a minimum of two years direct lending or credit support related experienceRelevant deal execution experience an advantageFluent in English; knowledge of / fluency in other western European languages would be advantageousRegular travel within the region and periodic travel to the United States is required
