Commercial Claims Technician
Full Job Description
This is a technical desk based role. Your main responsibilities will be focussed on handling EL, PL and commercial propertyclaims. Some of your main duties will include:
- Handling third party motor liability claims
- Assess liability and quantum from advice through to settlement
- E-mail and telephone correspondence
- Client updates
- Maintain the diary process
- Identify suspicious-potentially fraudulent information
- Identify and evaluate evidence
The successful applicant will have a good knowledge of Employers and Public Liability claims handling and commercial property knowledge would also be desirable. Must have experience of third party claims handling and particularly indemnity and liability investigations and decisions. You must have the ability to identify areas of investigation to establish liability or causation, along with awareness of relevant case law and statutory requirements, is vital. Applicants should be good communicators, client focussed and target driven.
