General Statement of Duties

Responsible for analyzing loan requests from the Bank's small business borrowers and managing the loan packaging process. The analyst will work closely with loan officers, customers, and the Bank's attorney during this process.

Typical Duties

·         Prepare financial spreadsheets for loan officers during initial loan underwriting and annual reviews of small business customers; Identify trends and potential problems through detailed analysis of financial statements, business operations and industry research.

·         Coordinate the loan closing activities with the assistance of the Bank's attorney, the borrower and loan officers.

·         Screen prospective lending customers (by phone and in person) and follow-through with appropriate actions.

·         Assist loan officers in managing on-going loan servicing requests from borrowers.

·         Perform other similar and related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree required. Significant coursework in accounting, finance or economics preferred.

·         Three years prior experience.

·         Strong written and oral communication skills. Adept at popular spreadsheet and word processing programs.

·         Highly motivated, detail oriented and capable of coordinating several tasks simultaneously.
