Commercial Development Manager – Energy/Oil & Gas – Abu Dhabi recruitment
In addition, develops commercialization strategy for large infrastructure projects and/or investment vehicles that achieve Client Energy objectives of origination to commercialization in a short period of time. Develop appropriate commercial frameworks, financial models and pricing structures that minimises risk and maximises the value.
Support development of Client Energy strategy and annual business plan covering commercial aspects
- Active participation in strategic planning of infrastructure projects and contributes to annual strategy and business plan
- Deliver Energy Industry Structure
Execute commercial structures to achieve business plan objectives
- Delivery of commercial structure and commercial negotiations with key partners on multiple projects / JV’s project
- Development of commercial structure and pricing models for future energy projects
Enable successful Energy project development, specifically focusing on Commercialization and margin enhancement
- Actively participate in strategic planning of Energy and infrastructure projects
- Plan, develop and formulate appropriate commercial and financial models and pricing structures
- Prepare business cases and analysis to evaluate and support investment opportunities
- Support and provide advice during commercial negotiations and offtake agreements
- Collect and analyze market and competitor data in coordination with a network of business development personnel
- Review and propose amendments to contract rates, pricing structures and commercial terms
- Provide financial advice and manage project finance and the relationship with banks and financial advisors
- Participate in the development proposals, bids and tenders
- Represents Client and BU with senior business partners and government institutions
Lead, develop, and execute special purpose vehicles and joint ventures
- Successful commercial support of SPVs / JVs established under the Energy BU
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor in Business, Finance or Engineering with economics focus
• MBA or Masters an asset
Preferred Experience:
• 8-10 years of financial and commercial experience
• 3-5 years commercial development experience with in the energy sector
Candidates with entities such as Shell, Chevron, BP, Schlumberger and those with a previous stint in McKinsey, BCG, Booz etc will be given top priority
