Commercial Director - Financial Services - £80k-120k

Salary: £80k-£120k + bonus bens.
A market-leading banking solutions company based in the City of London is looking for a high performing and motivated Commercial Director to join their executive team.
You will be responsible for helping to ensure that the company is commercially successful by optimising new business development, sales and client management strategy.
Essential
-UK specific (and preferably Europe) business development and strategy development experience in financial services or sectors where success relied on effective engagement with other SMEs
-Proven record of driving and defining optimum sales models and strategy, especially within a regulated environment
-Demonstrable experience of successfully improving and managing organisational performance at an executive level position
-The ability to lead, influence, challenge and inspire both within the team but also cross functionality, as the role will require interacting and working in a collaborative way with Marketing, as well as Operations, Risk, Finance and IT
Desirable
-Acted as a commercially-driven senior manager in a fast growing SME or a business whose target market were to acquire and service SME clients
-Knowledge of payment cards and the payment card environment or knowledge of marketing prepaid products from other industries
-Someone who is hands-on, not only managing strategy but also being heavily involved with the team and actively representing the company in a sales capacity
