Headquartered in Houston, Texas, ConocoPhillips stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol ?COP.? : This position is part of the Commercial Liquids Application Support Team which is responsible for first line support to the Commercial organization applications used for the trading of Clean, Heavy, NGL, and Crude products as well as support to the Commercial Marine organization. The primary responsibilities of this functional analyst position will be to provide business solutions/functional-based systems production support to our Commercial Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) organization. In addition to front line application support, this position will network with Commercial, Accounting, Finance, Risk, and other IT support groups and software vendors to investigate, analyze, troubleshoot and determine how to configure and exploit new functionality for the benefit of the Commercial organization. This position will be required to learn the functionality, configuration and architecture for the Commercial Liquids applications; which includes vendor software as well as ConocoPhillips specific applications, configuration, processes and interfaces. The candidate filling this position can be expected to gain both analytical and technical experience in IT application support, expertise using MS SQL Server database and Commercial business knowledge in one or more areas of the organization. Responsibilities may include: Provide front line production application support to the business focusing on Front Office (i.e. Trading, Scheduling, Contracts), Back Office (Accounting) or Risk/PnL parts of our Commercial trading business Collaborate with the business to develop business functional requirements for small enhancements and coordinate IT development team to deliver the solution to the business. Analyzing data or system issues directly on SQL Server database Liaison between Commercial business, developers and other IT leveraged services teams to provide functional and technical support as appropriate Liaison between Commercial and vendor to troubleshoot software issues and define software enhancements Note this is not an application developer or project manager role. This is a functional role focuses on daily production support and small enhancements of our ETRM application.
