Commercial Finance Analyst recruitment
This excellent new role initially reports into the Chairman therefore exceptional communication skills and a track record of success surrounding internal and external strategy is essential. A professional finance qualification is also a key pre-requisite.
The purpose of this role is to support the Group’s strategy through understanding existing and potential performance (financial and operational) of its wide range of brands and propositions. Responsibilities include:
- Providing high quality financial analysis to assist in budgeting and financial decision-making
- Stripping out and providing clarity on inter-company charges and transactions
- Creating and analysing detailed KPI’s, including variance and productivity analysis
- Contribute to improvement of internal reporting processes
- Constructing product costing, margins and utilisation analysis
- Sales and profitability forecasting incorporating market variables
- Supporting the creation of business models for client-specific sales proposals
The Commercial Finance Analyst must demonstrate financial / quantitative analysis experience from a high growth firm, a leading consultancy or a financial services company. Key core competencies required to succeed in this role includes confidence and clarity in communications to present analysis to non-financial management, initiative and self-motivation, ability to hit the ground running and come up with new ideas or solutions to solve problems
