A large, listed international group is seeking a commercial financial controller for its London property development business.
The role will head up the finance function of the property division and will report directly into the Group CFO whilst managing a team of five accountants.
This is a broad role that will include management of the operational side of the business, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors, tendering on projects, providing profitability analysis and working at Director level on strategic decisions.
The role will also have responsibility for the stringent reporting requirements that come with being part of a listed group.
Candidates should have experience of working within the property industry, as well as the breadth of experience to deal with a very operationally focused role. All applicants must have a full accountancy qualification.
