We are currently looking to recruit a Commercial Gas Engineer – for the Newcastle area to provide a technical service with the minimum of supervision to the company’s clients in respect of service, repairs, maintenance and installation on a variety of building plant.

 
Duties:

To carry out skilled heating/combustion maintenance, repair and improvements.

To carry out repair/PPM work.

To install new plant and equipment when required.

Carry out replacement or repair of all pipework systems inc Steel, iron Copper up to 3”.

Diagnose and repair faults on heating systems and plant.

Be proactive in reporting faults to equipment, buildings and fittings.

Work in accordance with Work Instructions, Safe Working Practices and Method Statements ensuring relevant paperwork is completed in an accurate timely manner.

Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas.

Work safely, ensuring the safety and well being of yourself, colleagues, customers and visitors.

Take part in an Out of Hours call out rota.

To undertake other General PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.

To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
