Commercial Loans/Client Liaison – Direct Hire, Raleigh Job in Raleigh 27612, North Carolina US
A highly successful regional commercial bank undergoing tremendous growth, is actively recruiting for a very sharp, knowledgeable and self-directed professional for key role on its client services team.
This is a diverse role that requires outstanding client relations skills, proven and reliable detail and organizational skills as well as extensive knowledge of commercial loan regulations and practices. This Client Liaison will partner with the Account Manager (AM) and Operations/Analytical personnel to ensure all services are offered and executed in an effective and efficient manner. He/she will be first point of contact for all client-related activity and will ensure that service delivery is impeccable.
Specific responsibilities:
- Assist AM with the loan approval and renewal process including:
· Proactively monitoring the maturing loan report.
· Requesting updated financial information and other documentation necessary to complete the underwriting process.
· Working with AM and Analyst to insure credit approvals are completed in a timely manner.
· Assisting with the preparation of term sheets or commitment letters.
· Assist in gathering financial information (letters, calls, emails) from clients and other exception clearing items.
- With AM, develop/expand client relationship; ensure optimal communication of new service offerings
· Coordinate opening of DDA, MMIA, Sweep, Ready Reserve, Internet Banking, Remote Deposit Capture, Wire Authorizations, ACH Agreements, Merchant Services and Corporate Accounts
· Loan maintenance including trouble-shooting loan and deposit related issues.
- Facilitate advances, wire requests and participation draws.
- Perform credit checks, OFAC and ID Verification.
- Monitor reports such as required/expected balance reports, NSF report.
Ideal candidate will offer 5 plus years of directly-related experience in a commercial banking environment – ideally with bkgd in both operations/processing and client relations functions. In addition, seek a candidate with the work ethic and compliance orientation needed to be successful in this high expectations setting.
