Over the past 3 years Santander Commercial, Corporate and Business Banking has built a market share of around 5% of the market. This will increase to around 10% following the acquisition of the Rainbow Customer Base from RBS in early 2013.

Working alongside the Regional Directors, Finance, Business Management Strategy, Operations, Risk Service, and HR, the job holder will be responsible for supporting the Divisional Managing Director to deliver the Regional Medium Term Plan, through building and delivering effective performance management analysis and communication.

In addition, the job holder will take responsibility for using market information to inform and develop strategy, working closely with the Divisional Managing Director and wider Management Team in the implementation of strategic and tactical initiatives.

The successful candidate will be supporting business centres across the Thames Valley and South West region so must be willing to travel within these regions. Travel to London and Liverpool may also be required. Candidates will ideally be based in the Reading Business centre but could also be based out of Bristol or Exeter.
