Our client is a global construction and engineering organisation with operations in over 50 countries worldwide.

Job Description

Working closely with the Country Operations Manager and reporting to the Regional Commercial Manager, the main objective of this role is to drive and manage all finance and commercial activities for the Australian business along with managing a small team. Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of all management and financial reports for head office;
• Preparation of financial and KPI analysis for management;
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts;
• Responsibility for all compliance and statutory returns;
• Provide support for project costing and tender preparations;
• Managing and reporting on project budgets.

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Commercial Manager or Finance Manager position, ideally from within the Construction and Engineering Industry. You will be degree qualified and ideally hold your CA or CPA qualifications. The ability to work independently along with guiding and managing a small team is key.
