Commercial Manager recruitment
This is a key hire within their main operation and will have full responsibility for Finance and Supply, with a department of around 50 people predominantly made up of national recruits. The role requires a fully qualified finance professional who has experience in working on large scale mining projects, throughout all phases of the LOM and undertakes their role with a hands on approach balanced with the appropriate mix of leadership and delegation skills.
Your daily responsibilities will include and are by no means limited to:
- Providing strategic and operational support to the mining business
- Maintaining a detailed LOM financial model
- Manage and report on the cost of production
- Champion the ongoing roll out of SAP software at the site
This role will suit an individual who has a strong character and who is not afraid to role up their sleeves when needed. You must have a solid understanding of ‘the drivers’ and trends within the industry and you must have experience in a similar role and a proven track record in delivering results in an operational environment.
It is imperative that you are ACA/ACCA/CA/CPA qualified and have at least 10 years relevant experience.
Only candidates with a proven track record within the Mining industry and experience of working in Africa will be considered.
This is a FIFO role on a 6:3 rotation.
