Commercial Manager recruitment
A Commercial Manager is required to play an active role in strategic planning and lead on specific areas of new business development, in particular focusing on building new commercial partnerships and investment opportunities.
Your main responsibilities will be to identify and develop new opportunities and sources of funding for the Carbon Trust Innovation business, and to lead the delivery of commercial aspects of many technology commercialisation projects, including initiatives in biofuels and fuel cells funded by the Department of Energy Climate Change. Your role will be to extend and enhance the Carbon Trust’s reputation as a leader in low carbon technology innovation.
Project management experience is essential and candidates must be degree educated (2:1 or equivalent), preferably in a science/engineering discipline. The ideal candidate is likely to have held a professional role within the corporate, finance or legal sector and have had proven experience in leading projects from idea stage to completion. An ability to quickly develop an understanding of a range of low carbon technologies would be welcomed.
