Commercial Mortgage Credit Analyst recruitment

Develops business relationships with borrowers and mortgage bankers within a specific geographic area. Works with clients to understand needs and coordinates efforts to service client organizations by working closely with underwriting, pricing, and loan administration. Performs financial analysis research, underwriting and due diligence related to Commercial Mortgage origination's. Develops and maintains knowledge of loan products and provides market intelligence to maintain competitive edge. Takes on an origination role (less than 50%) for the least complicated transactions. Establishes new contacts with a goal of developing widespread correspondent relationships for the group

Note: This position will involve concentration in sizing, pricing and structuring of tax-exempt bond deals for GSE and balance sheet executions, primarily in the New York metro area. Analyst will also work on other property types and in other markets as directed.

Basic Qualifications

2+ years credit loan experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to develop business relationships with borrowers and mortgage bankers within a specific geographic area. Experience with financial analysis research, underwriting and due diligence related to commercial mortgage originations. Ability to develop and maintain knowledge of loan products and provide market intelligence to maintain competitive edge. Ability to take on an origination role (less than 50% of time) for the least complicated transactions.

Note: This position requires strong financial analytic and communication skills. Three plus years of multifamily lending experience required.
