Commercial Mortgage Loan Closing Analyst recruitment

The primary responsibilities of the position include:

1. Coordinates with the field office loan originators to analyze the underwriting terms and structure of each transaction in order to facilitate the preparation and negotiation of Mortgage Loan Application Commitments;
2. Negotiate the loan documents with counsel and business counterparts;
3. Manage the loan closing process to ensure the review of all due diligence items required for a timely funding (e.g., property condition items, survey and title insurance, tenant related documentation, property and liability insurance etc.);
4. Disburse loan proceeds, collect and apply funds due the Company and pay expenses incurred in connection with the transaction (e.g. escrowed funds, holdbacks, administrative and any other fees, legal and third party expenses, as well as the return of the borrower’s liquidated damage deposit); and
5. Supervise the establishment of the transaction in the Company’s loan management system, as well as prepare and transfer the loan files to the Loan Administration Division.

Qualified candidates should possess the following:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• A minimum of 5 years experience in closing mortgage loans is required, together with a solid working knowledge of the loan closing process and the legal issues that arise, as well as an understanding of the business analysis that supports each transaction
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Self motivated, with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple assignments
