Commercial Performance Analyst
An exciting opportunity has arisen within an Energy Trading business for a Commercial Performance Analyst to join a newly created division. Sitting in Group Risk the position will require working closely with the departmental head to support the design, development and implementation of a commercial performance management framework. It is fundamental to the success of this division that cross functional teams are co-ordinated to ultimately deliver business orientated solutions and the CPA is capable of working between the commercial and financial areas. This division aims to become highly visible across the front to back offices and in dealings with senior management, where necessary influencing and acting in a business partnering capacity.
- Develop processes to ensure successful delivery of high quality and timely information to support the framework
- Coordinate and support development of the quarterly performance review meetings for executive management
- Design and develop KPI’s for the business design
- Develop the principles of value capture and creation, promoting the concept throughout the business and support functions
- Perform analysis to support value capture and creation concept
It will be particularly advantageous to have previous experience of working in a commercial or finance department within an trading and marketing business, where possible business partnering risk, product control, or trading teams. An accounting qualification (ACA, ACMA or equivalent) would be desirable, however strong business partnering and influencing skills will be paramount.
