COMMERCIAL PLANNING MANAGER recruitment
Our leading financial services provider offers international and private banking, wealth planning, trust and fiduciary services to a range of private and intermediary clients globally. Continuously striving to set new standards in wealth management, they currently have a requirement for a Commercial Planning Manager to work closely with the Head of Stockbroking as providing specialist sales and commercial support.
Core Responsibilities:
- The role holder will manage the Stockbrokers business programme to be delivered by the Specialist Sales function within the business.
- They will manage the day to day delivery of all campaign and revenue generating activity and will have key ownership to create, implement and analyse key client interactions to improve customer service and business relationships as well as attract new clients and develop new revenue streams.
- The role holder will support the Sales Managers by supporting and coordinating business activities to maximise revenue opportunities.
- They will be creative and innovative, have strong knowledge of markets, competitors and client demand and will deliver a model client interaction framework to both deliver first class results and develop the specialist teams.
- The role holder will be responsible to the Stockbrokers Head of Sales and will provide clear business direction and drive performance to optimise results.
- They will support the Sales Managers to ensure the team's product knowledge and market awareness skills are continually enhanced through coaching and development.
- They will deliver a powerful vision of success and demonstrate strength in leadership while guiding the team through challenge and growth.
- The role holder will be instrumental in achieving quality results and will work closely with our Proposition and Marketing teams to exploit all opportunities both planned and in reaction to market or economic events.
- The role holder will develop business strategy and lead innovative projects to develop revenue opportunity streams and enhance client experience whilst supporting the Sales Managers to streamline internal processes to improve and deliver key efficiencies.
Core Skills:
- Whilst no specific qualifications are required, the right candidate will have a first class general academic track record and it is desirable to have experience in financial services or investment qualifications. Aptitude in numeracy is required.
- The successful candidate will have the ability to motivate and lead, with a focus on continuous team improvement and a strong desire to develop and evolve the business.
They will be action oriented, with a focus on continuous improvement in all areas of work and will be able to deliver quality results, with a challenging but positive and influential style. - The right candidate will be creative but pragmatic, conceptual, but able to deliver at speed.
The suitable candidate will be a relationship builder and will have a reputation for integrity, with the ability to evoke rapid trust and openness in clients, colleagues and team members alike.
Core Requirements:
- The successful candidate will have a proven track record of sales management and of managing multiple teams.
- Desirable is a good knowledge of stockmarkets, trading and client insight in order to drive a strategy of sales activity to benefit the client.
- The right candidate will have knowledge of the data protection act/financial services authority and equivalent local legislation, to ensure compliance with the Bank's regulatory requirements.
- The candidate will also require strong knowledge of the UK/Global economic and political conditions, current affairs and competitor activity and the implications of these on our clients.
