This positoin pays $52.00 per hour .

Scope of Position:

  • This individual will be responsible for supporting the global commercial organizations in driving lean business practices and processes to deliver effective and efficient service to our customers and provide useful data back to the corporation.

    • Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Map current processes and define prioritization for process improvement. Define optimal global processes and lead implementation of process improvement initiatives for Engineering Services and Customer Service. Participate in Process Excellence projects on behalf of the groups to align processes across functional organizations. Help identify and develop lean mindset and capabilities within ES and CS.

    • Travel Requirements:

  • 25% travel primarily to EMEA

    Hours of work/schedule/flextime:

  • 40 hours/week

  • Occasional before or after hours meetings with other time zones

    • Required Education:

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, or Business

  • Master Black Belt Certification

    • Required Years and Area of Experience:

  • 5 years of experience with business process optimization tools (LEAN). Ideal candidate will be fluent in the Microsoft Office suite of applications, have a strong background in working with SalesForce.com FDC and SAP and be both technically and commercially savvy.

    • Required Skills:

  • Candidate must have demonstrated Process Excellence skills (LEAN). He or she must have a track record of successfully leading cross functional teams to deliver results. The ideal candidate will have some experience working with global teams and in the area of commercial processes (opportunity management, order management, technical support, etc) Must be fluent in written and spoken English and possess strong communication/presentation skills. Must be comfortable working in a matrixed organization and be effective in time management and prioritization. Innovation and customer focus are also required areas of demonstrated aptitude and interest.

    • Desired Skills:

  • Project management skills, openness to develop a global perspective, pre-and post sale transaction or process experience, strong analytical abilities, and SAP experience are desirable. Ideal candidates will be able to help establish a vision for optimizing the effectiveness of CCS operations through effective use of the tools and actively participate in achieving that vision.

    Soft Skills:

  • Candidate must be a self starter and be able to work well at multiple levels of the organization. He or she must be technically sound but be able to explain technology applications to the non-technical user effectively. The successful candidate will use excellent listening skills and be an active learner.
