Commercial Property Investment Analyst
The fixed income team currently extensively in government bonds, investment grade corporate bonds and high yield bonds globally. However due to what they see as a great opportunity in the market they are now going to be considerably increasing their exposure to assets backed by commercial real estate debt such as CMBS and other related securities.
Because of this expansion they now have, what I genuinely believe to be, an excellent opportunity for a property expert to join their team. You will be responsible for modelling the cash flows for selected commercial properties and will work with the portfolio management team to select suitable investments
The role requires:
- 5 – 15 years real estate experience
- You MUST be able to model the cash flows of a variety of types of commercial property and need to know the assumptions and variables that can affect the accuracy of these models
- An RICS qualification would be advantageous
- Knowledge of CMBS or other related securities would also be of interest however this is not a prerequisite for this role
