Our client, one of Australia's leading niche insurers! Has an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial underwriter to join them! If you posses experience within ISR (Industrial Special Risk) and are wanting an opportunity to work in a face paced and diverse role? Then this is the opportunity for you!

Your duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

• Provide technical support on commercial insurance to customers, distribution partners and regional office colleagues as tasked.
• Work with colleagues across the company and distribution partners to advise terms, rates, limits for new business, renewals and endorsements on appropriate customer segment commercial business.
• Provide quotes and place risk as required with delegated authority
• Provide profitability on your commercial portfolio products
• Prepare renewal reports
• Period reviews of the designated commercial accounts in conjunction with the manager to ensure compliance with company objectives, guidelines and legislative requirements.
• Business development with key customers and distribution partners to maintain and increase the company market share
• Represent the company at industry seminars, forums and conferences for market intelligence awareness as required

To be successful in this role you will need sound knowledge in general insurance and have a strong exposure to commercial insurance. You must have the right attitude and be prepared to work hard, be organised and in return for your hard work you will be recognised by your employer.
To be considered you'll need to have or be working towards a recognised insurance qualification and sound Microsoft Office skills.
