The Role: Commercial Underwriter
Our client, a specialist UK based insurers, requires an experienced Commercial Underwriter, who will play a key role in ensuring the companies profitable growth in their London offices.
As Commercial Underwriter, your role would include; underwriting new and existing business profitably, maintain and develop business relationships with intermediaries and encourage generation of new business. As well as this the Commercial Underwriter will assist and coach colleagues with technical aspects of underwriting and respond to requests by customers for information on products.
What we are looking for: Commercial Underwriter
Previous experience in a Commercial Underwriter role is essential, as well as technical product knowledge and an awareness of trading issues and the market. Someone who has excellent communication skills, is a team player and has strong negotiation skills will fit well within this company.
The Commercial Underwriter must have strong IT skills, can effectively manage their day and has an understanding of how their work contributes to the company's success.

What is on offer:
A salary between £28,000 - £34,000 plus excellent benefits.
