Job Description:
Position Title: Commission ManagerLocation: Omaha, NE Summary of Position This dynamic individual will manage a team of analysts to process sales commissions and provide support for our Sales organization. This person will provide management support, dashboards, create portal statements, drive plan initiatives, and develop process improvements. The job requires exception analytical and problem solving skills. You will be in full charge of the commission team. Additionally, this person will ensure team is meeting all critical deadlines and give excellent customer service. Responsibilities will include: • Responsible for ensuring commissions are paid accurately for North America Sales team, Europe Team, Canada, and spiff • Manages monthly/quarterly pay cycle and calendar to ensure deadlines are met and coordinating resources to meet deadlines • Develops process improvement and process standardization initiatives as needed • Analyze, design and configure quota base compensation plans and it modular components such as plan elements, formulas, rate tables, and lookups • Responsible for setting up OIC System parameters, accumulation periods, commission intervals, hierarchies, ruleset, pay group and payment plans • Conducts quality assurance audits of monthly pay verification for team • Work closely with Corp Apps, Ops Fin, and Collections to ensure accuracy • Accountable for plan configurations such as roles, group, hierarchy, weight amount, rate tables, caps, and all other setup are complete • Develop Portal Commission Statement for US and Europe sales team to be more transparent • Work closely with Compliance on updating commission policies, obtaining sign-off on Terms and Conditions acknowledgement, and Summary of Plans (SOP) Minimum Job Qualification • Minimum 7-10 years experience in commissions • Minimum 5-7 years of Oracle Incentive Compensation (OIC) experience • Advanced computer skills including spreadsheets, reporting, and in dept understanding of software (OIC) • Proven analytical and problem solving skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong managerial skills including ability to manage through changes to the compensation plans • Experience in managing and developing people • Ability to coach team members to meet critical deadlines Preferred Job Qualificications • 5-7 years of experience with OIC • Strong Knowledge in Microsoft Office • Prior SOX experience required • Able to trive in a fast paced environment and under tight deadlines
