To meet the demands of an ever increasing installation schedule, they are looking to strengthen their Commissioning Engineering Team and as such are looking to hire additional experienced Commissioning Engineers, particularly those with prior exposure to the Municipal Wastewater Treatment environment.
The successful candidate will typically be responsible for providing electrical control testing and commissioning support the Municipal project teams along with providing support the Regional Electrical Engineer. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
•On site commissioning of Wastewater treatment plant
•Completion of Commissioning documents and Site Acceptance Testing
•Input to Commissioning Plans
•Snagging and fault-finding
•Carry out site inspections and site supervision
•Carry out Client training on site
•Preparation of site reports
Candidates considering applying must be qualified to at least ONC Electrical/Control Engineering (or equivalent) and fully competent at interpreting wiring schematics. You must be able to work independently with minimum supervision, under pressure, to strict deadlines. You will be IT Literate, hold a Full (Clean) UK driving licence and demonstrate the flexibility to work away from home, both within UK and also overseas in regions such as Europe, the Middle East Africa.
Knowledge of current edition of BS7671 together with 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations will be a distinct advantage, as will previous Commissioning experience within the Wastewater Treatment industry.
