With a consultative approach, you will identify clients' needs and demonstrate how solutions will help them make the best investment/trading decisions, by making their business more profitable. You will be responsible for building new business and developing existing business. The individual will work with and liaise with other teams and departments to help reach this goal as you will be expecting to bring in new ideas around furthering the products in the market space.
Responsibilities:
- Frequent prospecting calls to existing accounts and develop new business.
- Arrange and execute clients visits to solutions to both potential and existing customers
- Stay informed about the financial markets in order to spot trends, look for new opportunities and establish credibility with clients by understanding their business.
- Promoting and selling the Gas Power Fundamental Models to existing customers and new prospects
- Increasing the adoption and usage of Fundamental Models with the core front-office customer base
- Pro-actively gathering detailed product feedback from clients and successfully translating their needs and requirements into actionable items together with the Product Development Group
Requirements:
- Experience in or selling to the financial markets is highly desirable and preferred
- Extensive experience and knowledge in the Gas/Power sector, preferably through Trading or Sales roles in the past - you must come from a Top Tier Investment Bank or Utilities Company
- Existing and proven relationships in the Gas/Power sector, preferably with front office (trading/risk/analysis)
- Knowledge of the financial markets
- Proven consultative sales skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain solid client relationships
- Entrepreneurial and outgoing character
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - Not essential but desired, European languages in addition to English
