Commodities Analyst – Precious Metals recruitment
Providing analysis and market intelligence across key industry sectors, Macquarie Research has one of the largest research teams in the Asia pacific region and has a significant presence in North America, the UK and South Africa. With expansion of our commodity service offering, an Macquarie is seeking an experienced analyst to lead fundamental research of precious metals markets within the top ranked Macquarie Commodities Research team. Your role will involve determining gold, silver, platinum and palladium market dynamics and providing market intelligence and price forecasts for distribution to both internal and external clients. The role is strongly client focused and will allow you to draw on your outstanding client relationship skills and commercial, creative approach to market perspectives.

In this role, you will, working closely with the rest of the commodity research team:
- assist with forecasting and reporting the underlying drivers and future trends across the precious metals industry
- construct and maintain models to determine supply-demand dynamics across commodity markets
- be involved in intense data analysis as well as reviewing and writing commentary
- liaise with research and sales teams globally.
- deliver your findings to internal clients and more broadly to sector professionals
- represent Macquarie at network and other industry related forums
To be successful, you will have:
