Commodities and FI Derivatives Analyst recruitment
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Analyze fundamental price drivers and generate trade ideas relating to global commodities markets
• Sustain the build-out of a platform for fundamental and technical research across Energy, Agriculture, and Metals markets
• Create and oversee excel models which monitor portfolio characteristics /performance and develop arbitrage opportunities across Commodities and Fixed Income derivatives products.
• Calculate Greeks across various derivatives markets and strategies.
• Monitor Fixed Income derivatives markets including; Interest Rates, Credit and Sovereign debt to determine unique cost saving or alpha opportunities.
• Learn, understand and be able to explain the impact of Dodd-Frank regulatory changes on current and future portfolio investment strategies across multiple asset classes.
Minimum Requirements and Experience:
- Equivalent to graduation from college preferably with major work in business administration, economics, finance, mathematics, or a closely related field
- Three years of increasingly responsible investment analysis experience for a public agency or private financial institution, insurance company, pension fund, endowment fund, investment firm, real estate development and investment firm, or other private corporation or entity having a major investment management program
